I also like really like Black Egret which is still
available at 12/1, great value and seeing the guys on the forum tip it also makes me feel even more confident.
Race 5
I believe that Grant Van Niekerk will win at least one race , so I’m definitely including Varvara @ 33/1 in my pick 6/ Jackpot
I will structure my Pick 6 from all the info I got on the forum.

LOL, I think South probably could, he is UK based. LOL. Wish I could say it was my money pushing it down.
I still can't believe its dropped to that side but the owners are big punters if I remember.

Race 1
A bit of a roughie as I start the card , Flamboyant Flyer is raiding from Joburg from a small stable , but father and son team enjoy a claim of 2.5kg which should put this filly much closer than rated. Nettleton my second choice.
Race 2
The Grey King brings some class to this race and his last run can be ignored , this distance should suit him nicely and I rate him a fair bet. Second choice is Wylie Riley who is an honest sort.
Race 3
Baratheon has been well tried over the last 18 months but seems likely to stay the distance ok , he has a nice galloping weight andI'm hoping for a fair run.
Race 4
I like 2 here , One Way Traffic and Nebraas. The latter hails from the Tarry yard whose runners grow extra legs on the big days.
Race 5
Gimmies Countess was absolutely butchered in her last run and despite being as short as 11/10 make her a very hard horse to beat , bankering in my exotics.
Race 6
the male version of the previous race and is potentially a very open race . I'm going wide and hoping for a result, My own fancy is Cosmic Speed.
Race 7
The big one , no real feel this year and shouting RV home for Chris and company . If I had to pick another it would probably be Future Pearl though drawn in the harbour.
Race 8
I've always rated Hold my Hand and have been disappointed as a result , however despite there being a number of horses that hold her I think she's not outclassed here and going to give her a tickle.
Race 9
Wide open but hoping Lucinda Woodruff's runner cafe Culture will run well, Fourie on board as well.
Race 10
Navajo Nation has been competing in some hot races , this class should show a lot of improvement .
Race 11
To come

R1 I think the favorite could be beat here so I’m looking at swingers with a few longer odds horses:
Flamboyant Flyer, Rani of Jhansi and Vihaans queen
R2 each way on Diani @ 20/1, and swingers with the The Grey King
R3 Master Fuego @ 10/1 , and places on Baratheon @ 20/1
R4 Indian Ocean nice value @ 12/1
R5 Little Ballerina strong contender in a race where the favorites don’t always perform e/w @ 10/1
R6 Will follow South on Golden Rule E/W 33/1
July :
Already on RV @ 14/1 and Future Swing @ 25/1 , so I will add Oriental Charm and Master Redoute to my swingers and quartet betting plans .
R9 Merchants - Teflon Man around 10/1 for e/w bet.
Nicely weighted and I feel Yeni would have come back down to earth by now after winning the July with RV. Dangers are Melech and Cafe Culture
R11 Captain Peg @ at 17/2
I like to follow jockeys and trainers with one mount for the day, so this one is one of the best bets on the card for me .
Thanks so much JB, managed to get the trifecta here thanks to your two selections. Hope you got the lot as well!

Well done lads on a few nice winners so far!
I’ve had places and swingers on 2 of the 3 races I’ve punted to keep me in the black, so hoping to find the number one box later on card.
Good money for RV too.

Going with NAVAJO NATION in next, hadnt planned to punt this race but I’m only picking up places today and need a winner. Run to July winner makes 20/1 ew feel big.

Congrats to you, Natasha and all the connections Chris!
I guess the big question is - where to from here for RV?

There is a Grade 1 over 1800 on Gold Cup Day at end of this month Brent, many of the entries also ran prominently in the July plus Dave The King who has this race as his main target so will be tough but all being well we will give it a go.
